The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco is the largest public arts institution in San Francisco and the fifth most visited arts museum in the nation. Formed in 1972 with the merger of the M.H. de Young Memorial Museum in Golden Gate Park and the California Palace of the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park, FAMSF offers an encyclopedic overview of artistic achievement from ancient times to the present.
We’re collaborating with FAMSF to create new ways for visitors to engage in museums, whether through bespoke audio content that leverages Here One technology or via location-based insights about the museum. Our technology will enable visitors to easily navigate museums using audio notifications, explore what’s on view, and debate the merits of contemporary art with friends and people around them—all without ever having to remove the Here One earbuds.
